Contrairement \u00e0 l'UT classique, le PAUT permet de contr\u00f4ler enti\u00e8rement la direction, l'angle et la focalisation du faisceau en ajustant la synchronisation des \u00e9l\u00e9ments de sonde individuels - une technique connue sous le nom <b>d'orientation \u00e9lectronique du faisceau.<\/b>.<\/p><p>Le faisceau ultrasonique est balay\u00e9 \u00e0 travers le mat\u00e9riau comme un <b>projecteur,<\/b>et les donn\u00e9es provenant de diff\u00e9rents angles sont reconstruites en une <b>image visuelle en coupe transversale<\/b> de l'objet test\u00e9.
